Ganesh Shankar Vidyarti

⬧ Ganesh Shankar Vidyarti was born on October 26, 1890 in Allahabad city of Uttar Pradesh.
⬧ After passing the entrance, he became an employee in the Kanpur Currency Office.
⬧ In the year 1913, the weekly 'Pratap' newspaper, which came out of his industry, on the one hand proved to be the first authentic national paper of Hindi, on the other hand, it also became an inspiring platform for emerging new talents in the field of literature and culture. Vidyarti used to consider Acharya Mahavir Prasad Dwivedi as his literary guru.
⬧ It was with his inspiration that he created and translated creations that ignited the spirit of freedom, and for this purpose he did subsidiary journalism.
⬧ Most of the Vidyarti 's life was spent in jails. The British government did not get satisfaction even after repeatedly putting him in jail.
⬧ The ideological initiation of Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi took place in the philosophy of Lokmanya Tilak.
⬧ Vidyarthi had to sacrifice his life in an attempt to pacify the communal riots in Kanpur on March 25, 1931.
⬧ Mahatma Gandhi had said on his death: “Alas! I would have met such a death.
⬧ Vidyarthi used to show true sympathy towards the poor, farmers, oppressed, laborers etc. in his life as well as in writings.
